I received this chocolate as a gift from my Secret Santa (thanks Yang!), along with three other bars that we will be opening in 2021.
I liked the simple but beautiful packaging and it was only when I turned the bar over that I saw spices. Before that, I thought it was pure chocolate.
To be honest, at first I was a little upset, as my previous experience of consuming chocolate with spices can be rated as 3 stars on average. The issue usually is not in the spices themselves, but most often in their quantity or match (or rather non-match) with cocoa. And having felt a light, but still dominant smell of spices, I almost believed that I would not like chocolate.
As often happens, I was wrong :) the spices, in this particular case, nicely complement the chocolate, neutralizing sugar. Pleasant light astringency at the end. Honest 4 stars.
Цей шоколад я отримав у подарунок від мого Secret Santa (дякую Yang!), разом із ще трьома плитками, які ми пробуватимемо вже у 2021.
Мені сподобалася проста, але красива упаковка та тільки перевернувши плитку я побачив спеції. До цього я вважав, що це чистий шоколад. Чесно кажучи, спершу я трохи засмутився, тому що мій попередній досвід споживання шоколаду зі спеціями можна оцінити в середньому на 3 зірки.
Лихо не в самих спеціях, а найчастіше в їх кількості або поєднанні з какао (правильніше не-поєднанні). І відчувши легкий, але все ж таки домінуючий запах спецій я майже повірив що шоколад мені не сподобається.
Як часто буває, я помилився :) спеції, в даному конкретному випадку, дуже непогано поєднувалися з шоколадом, нейтралізуючи цукор. Приємна легка терпкість наприкінці. Чесні 4 зірки.
