85% El Aura Organic Dark Chocolate by Chocolate del Caribe

Another Costa Rican bar — this time a 85% chocolate from Chocolate del Caribe. The previous bar from this producer wasn’t in great shape — it had been overfrozen — but this one looks much better and has kept quite well. I don’t remember if I bought them together or in different places. The packaging and bar look almost identical to the one we tried before, except instead of monkeys, there’s a very cute leopard on this one. Also, this bar has 85% cacao instead of the 70% in the previous one.

The aroma is rather sharp, and the taste is somewhat softer and smoother at first, but in the end, there’s a bitter sharpness with a certain aftertaste that gets stronger — and personally, I don’t really like it. After a few more tries, this bar gets two stars from me, specifically because of its unpleasant aftertaste.

Ще одна костариканська плитка — на цей раз 85% шоколадка від Chocolate del Caribe. Минула плитка від цього виробника була не в дуже хорошому стані — вона була переморожена, хоча ця плитка виглядає набагато краще, вона досить непогано зберіглася. Не пам'ятаю, чи купував я їх разом в одному місці, чи в різних місцях. Упаковка та сама, плитка виглядає майже ідентично тій, що ми їли, окрім того, що замість мавп тут дуже симпатичний леопард. Ну і вміст какао тут 85% замість 70%, які були в тій плитці.

Пахне плитка різкувато, і смак відповідний, трохи м'якший і плавніший спочатку, але в кінці це така гіркувата різкість з якимось присмаком і вона посилюється, і мені вона особисто не сильно подобається. Після декількох додаткових проб ця плитка отримує дві зірки саме через свій неприємний, як на мене, післясмак.
