70% Hazelnut Butter Dark Chocolate by Hu

This is the second bar of chocolate from Hu in my collection. I received it as a gift — I probably wouldn’t have bought another bar myself, because as I wrote in my previous review, it’s unreasonably expensive and, from what I’ve read, contains a lot of heavy metals. But a gift is a gift, and I don’t eat this chocolate very often, so let’s open it and see. This is not a pure bar — it contains nut butter, specifically hazelnut butter, so most likely it will taste more like a candy than chocolate. I have no complaints about the packaging: it’s a sleeve with tightly sealed compostable foil-wrapped plastic.

The bar inside is small, and for some reason, already has a white bloom on it, but you can still tell that the bar is relatively fresh. As expected, the taste of hazelnut is dominant, and this is the kind of candy that might go well with tea, but it’s not something particularly delicious or that departs from the typical nut chocolate. So this bar earns a modest three stars. That’s all.

Її я отримав у подарунок — сам би я навряд чи вирішив колись купити ще одну плитку цього шоколаду, бо, як я писав у минулому огляді, він не виправдано дорогий і, судячи зі всього, містить велику кількість важких металів. Але подарунок є подарунок, і я не їм цей шоколад так вже часто, тож відкриваємо і дивимось. Це плитка не чиста — тут є горіхове масло, а саме масло фундука, тому, скоріше за все, на смак це буде цукерка, а не шоколад. До упаковки претензій в мене немає: конвертик, в якому щільно запаяний фольгований пластик, який можна компостувати.

Плиточка всередині невелика і чомусь уже на ній є білий наліт, але все одно видно, що ця плитка відносно свіжа. Як і очікувалось, смак фундука домінує, і це така собі цукерочка, яку можливо непогано з’їсти з чаєм, але щоб вона була якась дуже смачна або якось відступала від канонів горіхового шоколаду — то ні. Тому ця плитка отримає скромні три зірки. На тому і все.
