72% Espresso by Duffy's

This is the last of my Duffy’s bars that I managed to buy in England. This one is made with coffee.

As always, it comes in solid, well-crafted packaging, hand-wrapped in golden foil, with a beautifully colored chocolate inside. Nothing bad happened to it — it seems fresh and was stored properly, both by the sellers and by me.

The aroma is intensely coffee-forward, as expected — no surprises there. The taste is that classic combination of great chocolate with coffee — moderately sweet, with just the right level of coffee intensity. I like it. I wouldn’t say it’s something I’d eat every day, as the coffee dominates heavily, making it quite different from pure chocolate. But it’s still delicious, and I’d happily indulge in it from time to time.

This is a solid four stars — nothing more to add. Duffy’s is probably the best UK-based chocolate maker I know. Well, unless London Chocolate decides to step up and compete.

Пахне дуже сильно кавою, як і очікувалося, не дивує. Цей смак класного шоколаду з кавою, в міру солодкий, в міру кавовий, мені подобається. Я не скажу що я їв би такий шоколад кожен день, бо він все-таки відрізняється від чистого шоколаду - кава домінує дуже сильно. Але це все одно дуже смачно і, періодично я би абсолютно ласував такою штукою. Це хороша сильна четвірочка, більше додати нема чого. Duffy's мабуть найкращий з відомих мені виробників шоколаду з Об'єднаного Королівства. Ну, хіба що тепер London Chocolate може спробувати позмагатися.
