I ordered this 100% bar from Brunos Chocolates on Amazon after returning from Costa Rica. Actually, I ordered a batch of seven bars, and one of them was the 100%.
Honestly, I didn’t expect anything interesting from this bar, even though I generally liked the other bars from this producer. The chocolate itself looks identical to the ones we’ve already opened. By the way, I still have their 60% version left. Since it’s the sweetest, I’ll save it for last. I’m sure it will look just the same.
The aroma is also very similar to the other bars: bitter and floral. But the taste really pleasantly surprised me and made me happy overall. It’s quite mild for a 100% bar. There’s none of that harsh, muddy bitterness you sometimes get even in 85% bars. There are no sharp notes - it’s bitter yet gentle. I think they didn’t skimp on the cocoa butter here.
In the end, there’s a slightly astringent, bitter aftertaste, but it’s quite pleasant. I’d say this is a very solid, good four stars. I really love such pleasant surprises.

Пахне він теж дуже схоже на ті плитки: гіркувато-квітково. Але смак мене дуже приємно здивував і в цілому порадував. Це доволі м’яко як для 100%. Шоколад не викликає того відчуття гіркого бруду, яке іноді буває навіть у 85% плиток. Тут немає різких ноток - він гірко-ніжний. Тобто, я думаю, какао-масла тут не пошкодували.
В кінці залишається такий терпкувато-гіркуватий післясмак, але він доволі приємний. Що ж, я вважаю, що це дуже тверда, хороша четвірка. Дуже люблю такі приємні здивування.
