This is the second of three new bars from Zotter that I recently ordered from zotterusa.com. It's 72%, and this is my first bar originating from Haiti. Before this, we tried the 80% Colombia, and that bar didn’t have the usual flavor and aroma anchors they usually add to the packaging, but this one does. There are so many different tastes promissed, I read them before even opening the bar, and I was somewhat puzzled. How can all of these be in it? Of course, I didn't find many of the listed flavors.
The aroma, in my opinion, is similar to many Zotter bars – it's a deeply chocolatey scent with noticeable acidity right in the smell. There's also something not quite milky but creamy, like sniffing a delicious chocolate cake. Also maybe some raisins or something similar; we're supposed to find grapes, apricots, or cherries, and perhaps there's a hint of that. It's definitely a pleasant aroma.
The taste is amazing and hard to describe, but it somewhat reminded me of coffee, though a soft coffee with oat milk, like a cappuccino. There’s no bitterness or acidity of coffee, but there’s something coffee-like, along with some woody notes, like burnt wood. At the end, when the taste is almost gone, there's an interesting acidity. Not citrus, but more like a tangy yogurt-like note - very interesting. It’s quite sweet, being only 72%, but all these other layers of flavor complement it very harmoniously. It’s a pity I only ordered two bars. This is a solid five stars, a very cool chocolate that I recommend everyone to try!
Це друга з трьох новеньких плиточок від Zotter які я нещодавно замовив на zotterusa.com. Тут 72% і це моя перша плитка родом з Гаїті. Перед цим ми їли 80% Колумбію і на тій плитці не було звичайних якорів щодо смаків та запахів які ви маєте відчути, але тут вони є. І їх тут настільки багато, я прочитав їх перед тим як навіть відкрити плитку і був дещо спантеличений. Як це все може там бути? Ну і, звісно, багато чого з цього списку я не знайшов. Запах, як на мене, схожий на запах багатьох плиток Zotter'а - він такий шоколадно-шоколадний, з помітною кислинкою прям у запаху. Ще тут є щось таке не те щоб молочне, але біля того, щось таке кремова, як ніби нюхаєш якийсь смачний шоколадний торт. Ще можливо якісь родзинки або щось схоже, нам пропонують знайти виноград або абрикоси або черешні, ну щось з цього можливо там і є. Приємний запах стовідсотково.
Смак дуже крутий, мені важко його теж описати, але він трошки нагадав мені чимось каву, але таку м'яку каву з вівсяним молоком, такий собі капучіно. Тобто гіркоти та кислоти кави немає, але щось кавове є і ще трошки як таке дерев'яні нотки, припалене дерево. В кінці, коли смак вже майже закінчується, є така трошки цікава кислота. Не цитрусован, а така навіть якась кисломолочна, дуже цікаво. Досить солодко, бо тут всього 72%, але всі ці інші шари смаку, вони точно доповнюють це дуже гармонійно. Шкода що я замовив лише дві плитки. Це тверда п'ятірка, дуже прикольний шоколад, всім раджу спробувати!
