When I was buying various chocolates at the London Chocolate store, I got everything available except for the Madagascar bar, as they didn’t have it in a full-size version. Instead, they offered me this envelope with only 23 grams of chocolate — a sort of sample. But I figured I don’t know when I’ll be in London next time or when I’ll get another chance to buy this chocolate, so I went for it.
The bar is tiny — just 23 g. The packaging is decent for such a small size; at least it preserved the chocolate well, and it looks fine. For some reason, I felt that such a small portion wouldn’t be enough to properly evaluate the chocolate. And maybe I was right because the chocolate was gone much faster than I could form a solid impression.
From what I managed to taste: it starts off slightly sweet, then turns more bitter. The aftertaste is very short but retains all the bitterness. Honestly, I enjoyed the other bars more. Maybe it really has something to do with the size, though that shouldn’t be the case. But facts are facts — I'll settle on three stars. If I ever get my hands on a full-size Madagascar bar, I might give it another try.

Замість неї мені запропонували цей конвертик із лише 23 грамами шоколаду, такий собі пробничок. Але я вирішив, що невідомо коли я буду в Лондоні наступний раз і коли ще мені випаде такий шоколад придбати, тож я погодився.
Плитка дуже малесенька - 23 г. Упаковка в цілому непогана для такого розміру, принаймні вона зберігла шоколад і виглядає він нормально. Чомусь мені здалося, що такої маленької плиточки мені буде замало щоб оцінити шоколад. І, можливо, я був правий, тому що шоколад закінчився набагато швидше ніж я встиг скласти собі якусь певну картинку. Але з того що я встиг розпробувати: шоколад спочатку трошки солодкий, потім більше гіркий. Дуже короткий посмак в якому все ще залишається вся гіркота. Чесно кажучи, інші плитки смакували мені краще. Можливо це дійсно якось пов'язано з розміром, хоча начебто такого не мало би бути. Але факт фактом, зупинимось на трьох зірках. Можливо якщо мені вдасться отримати більшу плитку Мадагаскару я спробую ще раз.
