72% Dark Chocolate by Balfour

Another bar from Costa Rica that was stored in improper conditions. The chocolate is hard and completely covered in white bloom, but at least there’s no mold, unlike one of the other bars I didn’t even add to the site because it was just crumbled and moldy, even though the expiration date hadn’t passed. This bar is simply out of condition.

The bar is small, though it was quite expensive-probably from the airport, though I can’t say for sure. The chocolate itself isn’t bad, but there’s absolutely nothing about it that would justify such a price; it’s purely a tourist novelty. I don’t think this chocolate could be sold for this price anywhere but Costa Rica - it just wouldn’t compete with other brands. So I’ll settle for a modest three stars. Not much more to say: you can eat it, but you can easily skip it.

Чергова плитка з Коста-Ріки, яка зберігалася в неналежних умовах. Шоколад твердий і весь у білому нальоті, але, на щастя, без плісняви, як було з однією з інших плиток, яку я навіть не додавав на сайт, бо плитка просто була вся в труху і в плісняві, хоча термін придатності ще не вийшов. Ця плитка просто не в кондиції.

Шоколадка маленька, хоча коштувала досить дорого-мабуть, це був аеропорт, хоча не беруся стверджувати. Шоколад сам по собі непоганий, але абсолютно нічого такого, щоб коштувало таких грошей, і це суто туристична забавка. Думаю, цей шоколад за такі гроші більше ніде, як у Коста-Ріці, продаватися просто не зможе-не витримає конкуренції з іншими брендами. Тож зупинимось на скромних трьох зірочках. Багато говорити немає про що: їсти можна, але абсолютно можна й не їсти.
