It’s almost a tradition now — giving chocolate from Michel Cluizel another chance every few years. I’ve given it quite a few chances already; sometimes it’s okay, sometimes not. This time, I saw it in the Viennese Xocolat shop, with 75% and Colombia coming together — a promising combination. And I thought, “Well, here we meet again.” Back then, I didn’t even realize that I already had a Colombian El Jardin from Cluizel in my collection, but with 69% cocoa. The packaging has changed, and so has the cocoa content — it’s more now!
The chocolate is sealed in foil, which is great because it hasn’t melted or been affected by the heat. Its aroma is quite heavy, with hints of licorice, somewhat reminiscent of over-roasted coffee.
And the taste turned out to be almost the same, with a distinct burnt aftertaste. So for me, this is still three stars.

Interestingly, I didn’t even notice it right away, but it seems that this is no longer Michel Cluizel, but Cluizel Paris.
Це вже майже традиція - раз на декілька років давати шоколаду від Michel Cluizel ще один шанс. Я давав йому цих шансів вже немало, іноді це окей, іноді ні. В цей раз я побачив його в віденському магазині Xocolat. Тут зійшлися 75% і Колумбія - непогане поєднання. І я подумав "Ну от ми знову і зустрілися". Тоді я навіть не зрозумів що в моїй колекції вже є колумбійська El Jardin від Cluizel, але з 69% какао. Упаковка змінилася, змінилась і кількість какао, його стало більше!
Шоколад запаяний у фольгу, що дуже добре, бо він не поплавився і жара його ніяк не зачепила. Запах в нього такий досить важкий, лакричний, трошки нагадує запах перепаленої кави.
І на смак виявилось майже те саме, і чіткий перепалений післясмак. І тому для мене це все-таки три зірки.

Цікаво, я навіть не помітив одразу, але здається що це вже не Michel Cluizel, а Cluizel Paris.
