The last of the Original Beans bars I managed to get on this European trip.
According to the manufacturer, this cacao is exceptionally rare. The inside of the packaging classifies Virunga Congo and Esmeraldas Ecuador as rare, while Piura Peru and Udzungwa Tanzania, which we tried relatively recently, are considered ultra-rare. But this specific bar falls into the "Select Tribal" category, which presumably means even rarer than the rarest.
As with all Original Beans bars, the presentation is fantastic. The packaging features great artwork and interesting accompanying information, with the familiar oval sun motifs imprinted on the chocolate pieces.
The aroma is on the heavier side - bittersweet but pleasant.
Now for the taste: it’s complex, and there’s some truth in the packaging description. It reminds me of black tea with a mix of spices that slightly dry out the mouth. But at the same time, it also has a surprising sweetness. Unlike some chocolates that melt into a thin chocolatey liquid, this one remains dense, rich, and incredibly layered in flavor.
This is yet another fantastic four-star bar - more like a 4.8.
Original Beans really know their craft. Hats off to them.

Запах більше важкуватий, такий гірко-солодкий, але приємний
Тепер до смаку, він дуже непростий і якась доля правди в описі на упаковці присутня. На смак це ніби щось як чорний чай і якісь ще спеції, які навіть трошки в'яжуть рот. Але в той самий момент це і солодко також. Він не перетворюється легко на таку шоколадну водичку, а він дуже насичений, дуже щільний і дуже багатогранний у смаку. Це традиційно дуже крута четвірка, щось близько 4.8
Original beans великі молоці, роблять дуже якісний шоколад, знімаю капелюха.
