Another French bar without a wrapper, just lying in an envelope — this is either some fashionable trend or a trend aimed at reducing production costs. I’m not a big fan of it because, as you can see, the chocolate has bloom, although honestly it’s not much more than on bars that were wrapped in foil or plastic.
The bar honestly looks a bit touristy judging purely by the packaging. There are a full 85% cocoa here, and it smells slightly bitter — you can feel there’s plenty of cocoa. It’s also interesting that the chocolate is labeled as “dark chocolate 85%,” but three lines below the cocoa content is listed as minimum 84% 🙂 somewhere 1% got lost.
But this is France, and they clearly know something about making chocolate, just as they do about cuisine in general, and the chocolate turns out to be very soft for 85% and quite good.
It doesn’t melt very willingly, but we’re having one of the coldest winters in years.
The chocolate leaves a bitter aftertaste; it’s not very long, and although there’s nothing particularly super interesting about it, it’s a decent four stars for 85%.

Цей тренд мені не сильно подобається, бо шоколад, як видно, в нальоті, хоча, чесно кажучи, цей наліт не набагато більший, ніж у тих плиток, які були запаковані в фольгований папір або пластик.
Плитка виглядає, чесно кажучи, трошки туристично суто по упаковці. Тут цілих 85% какао, і пахне вона трошки гіркувато — відчувається, що какао тут достатньо. Цікаво ще те, що шоколад називається як «темний шоколад 85%», але на три рядочки нижче склад какао вказаний як мінімум 84% 🙂 десь 1% загубився.
Але це Франція, і щось то вони знають у виробництві шоколаду, як і в кулінарії в цілому, і шоколад виявляється дуже м'яким як для 85% і дуже непоганим.
Тане він не дуже охоче, але в нас і одна з найхолодніших зим за роки.
Шоколад залишає гіркуватий післясмак, він не дуже довгий, і хоча в ньому немає нічого такого прям суперцікавого, але це непогана четвірочка як на 85%.
