Originaly Barcelonian bar made by Cacao Sampaka. A woman in the store immediately asked us what do we want to get and directed us to the shelf with bars. Then she brought a basket (for your chocolate :)) and left us there.
I took 3 bars, and this is one of them.
White mexican criollo. Also lightly roasted. I do not know exactly what it means, but probably the beans aren't roasted as long as usually or at a lower temperature, or both.
Bar is packaged in a carton box and plastic bag. There is no foil, but the bag is at least sealed. The bar in fact happen to be two identical 50 grams bars. What is interesting there is no pattern on them, except for the "Cacao Sampaka" inscription on the very top. And the color of course is amazing, for 70% cocoa, it really is as white. The smell is a bit floral, but not sharp, but very gentle, pleasant one.
First, there is a kind of milkiness in the taste. Then almost immediately acid, not citrus and not barberry, but something else. There is a bit of bitterness and sweetness, a good balance. The taste was opening by layers, little by little. And closer to the end, the taste of dried fruits, something like apricots or figs, opens. There may be even promised on the packaging prunes, but it is much more tender than the strong taste of prunes to which I am accustomed.
Very interesting bar, absolutely worth tasting! I later found another brand store in Madrid, and bought a bunch of bars and two of the same kind are among them. Another test confirmed my assessment of 5 stars!

On a second purchase I also bought a box of chocolates. They were very good and fresh!!! Higly recommend it!
I hope the rest of the bars will as good as this and I will gladly be able to add Cacao Sampaka to the list of my favorite chocolate producers.
Оригінально Барселонська плитка від Cacao Sampaka. У магазині тітка відразу запитала що нас цікавить і направила до стійки з плитками. Потім принесла кошик (здоровезний) (для вашого шоколаду :)) і залишила нас.
Я взяв три плитки, і це одна з них.
Біле мексиканське кріолло (або білий мексиканський кріолло :)). Ще й слабо просмажений (light roast). Не знаю точно що саме це означає, але напевно боби смажать не так довго як зазвичай або за більш низької температури або й те й інше разом.
Упакована плитка в картонну коробку та пластиковий пакетик. Фольги немає, але пакетик хоча б запаяний герметично. Сама плитка розпалася на дві однакові 50 грамові плитки. Що цікаво візерунка на них ніякого немає, крім напису Cacao Sampaka на самому верху. І колір звичайно вражає, для 70% какао, він дійсно як білий. Запах трохи квітковий, але не різкий, а ніжний, приємний.
Спершу в смаку відчувається якась молочність. Потім майже відразу кислота, не цитрусова та не барбарисова, а щось інше. Є трохи гіркоти та солодкості, гарний баланс. Смак розкривався шарами – потроху. І ближче до кінця відкривається присмак сухофруктів, щось на кшталт урюка чи фіги. Може бути і чорнослив, обіцяний на упаковці, але він набагато ніжніший за сильний смак чорносливу до якого я звик.
Дуже цікава плитка. Такий шоколад варто скуштувати однозначно!
Потрапивши до іншого фірмового магазину Cacao Sampaka у Мадриді, я прикупив ще купу плиток і серед них дві такі самі. Повторна проба підтвердила мою оцінку - 5 зірок!

Разом із купою плиток я прикупив і коробочку цукерок. Вони були дуже гарні! Рекомендую!
Сподіваюся решта плиток буде теж на висоті і я зможу із задоволенням додати Cacao Sampaka до списку своїх улюблених шоколадних виробників.
