Last year we tasted Lutsk craft chocolate from Alex Craft. Apparently within a year things has changed and the founder's sister has become a stakeholder and now they are called Sisters A. Chocolate. I like it even better :)
As before, there are many different bars with additives, and I, buying a small stack of pure chocolate bars, could not resist and got this one with hazelnuts. Probably I was also hooked by Venezuela. I have a weakness for their cocoa.
What surprised me a bit was the shelf life, only three months. But this is most likely due to the hazelnuts, and not the chocolate itself. Moreover, the hazelnuts were on top of the bar and not inside.
Not a bad bar, but coconut sugar has its own characteristic flavor that steals the spotlight. And personally, I don't really like it in chocolate, I guess I somehow missed it in the ingredients list. Because of the sugar, the flavor profile for me falls on the 3 stars shelve. But I think if coconut sugar is your thing, then you'll love it.
P.S. And nevertheless I'm, as a Ukrainian, proud that Ukraine has its own manufacturers of bean-to-bar chocolate.
Минулого року ми куштували Луцький крафтовий шоколад від Alex Craft. Мабуть, за рік "влада змінилася", в частку увійшла сестра засновниці, і тепер вони називаються Sisters A. Chocolate. Так мені навіть більше подобається :)
Як і раніше багато різних плиток з добавками, і я, не утримавшись, купив до маленької стопки чистих плиток, ось цю плитку з фундуком. Напевно, ще мене підбила Венесуела. Слабкість у мене на їх какао.
Що трохи здивувало, то це термін придатності, лише три місяці. Але швидше за все це через фундук, а не сам шоколад. Тим більше, фундук виявився зверху а не всередині.
Непогана плитка, але кокосовий цукор має свій характерний смак, який тягне на себе ковдру. І особисто я не дуже його люблю у шоколаді. Недоглядів його у складі. Через цукор смаковий профіль для мене потрапляє на трійку. Але думаю, якщо кокосовий цукор це ваше, то вам сподобається.
P.S. І я, як українець, все ж пишаюсь що в Україні є свої виробники bean-to-bar шоколаду.
