My first Lithuanian chocolate. The beans here as the name implies are from Costa Rica. Very, very nice packaging. A dense envelope with a bunch of text (unfortunately, it is written in a beautiful but hard-to-read font). Inside, alas, plastic bag. Apparently manufacturers are concerned about the impact of foil production on the environment, or plastic is much cheaper. I do not see other reasons to choose plastic. After all, as far as I know, foil better protects chocolate from temperature fluctuations and when it is reused (which can be done almost infinitely), the foil pollutes the environment less than plastic.
The bar is small and with an interesting not trivial pattern.
The smell is heavy, sour and slightly burnt. Not very tasty :(
The taste was not as scary as I thought by smell, but there were notes of overroasted cocoa there as well as acid.
Chewing a piece, I realized that it is better to dissolve this chocolate.
There is definitely something interesting in it, but the burnt taste and aftertaste is a serious minus. Three stars in total.
Перша моя литовська шоколадка. Боби тут як зрозуміло з назви костаріканські. Дуже приємна упаковка. Щільний конвертик з купою тексту (він, на жаль, написаний красивим шрифтом, що важко читати). Усередині, на жаль, пластиковий пакетик. Мабуть, виробників турбує вплив виробництва фольги на екологію, або пластик коштує набагато дешевше. Інших причин вибирати пластик я не бачу. Адже, наскільки я знаю, фольга краще зберігає шоколад від перепадів температури та при її повторному використанні (що можна робити майже нескінченно) фольга менше забруднює екологію, ніж пластик.
Плитка невелика та з цікавим не тривіальним візерунком.
Запах важкий, кислуватий і трохи палений. Не дуже смачний: (
Смак виявився не таким страшним, як думалося по запаху, але нотки пересмаженого какао там були. Кислота також.
Розжувавши шматочок, я зрозумів, що краще цей шоколад розсмоктувати.
Щось цікаве в ньому однозначно є, але палений смак та післясмак це серйозний мінус. Разом 3 зірки.
