This bar, if I'm not mistaken, was bought in Amsterdam in Chocolatl store. It was made in Switzerland though.
Pleasant packaging, I liked the design, although there also was a foil plastic bag inside.
If the packaging was not to say it is Peruvian chocolate, I would say right by the smell that it is from Madagascar. The smell unmistakably gives out acid and a little sweetness. Very similar to Madagascarian beans.
The taste also added some tartness, interesting tartness, I must admit. I'm not a fan of acid in chocolate, but there's something interesting here. What is noteworthy, the ingredients lists contains neither vanilla nor lecithin. And this is already good.
The taste, as I have already written, is multifaceted by acid. Here's a lemon and some tart berries and something else (packaging suggests that this is a passion fruit, it can very well be it - my european receptors are not accustomed to recognize it)
Aftertaste of lemon, but with a touch of bitterness of cocoa. Definitely interesting bar. Solid 4 stars.
Ця плитка, якщо не помиляюся, куплена в Амстердамі у магазині Chocolatl. Зроблено ж вона в Швейцарії.
Приємна упаковка, мені сподобався дизайн, хоча всередині дешевий пакетик.
Якби на упаковці не було написано що це перуанський шоколад, то я б просто по запаху сказав би що це мадагаскар. Запах безпомилково видає кислоту і трохи солодкості. Дуже схоже на мадагаскар.
Смак теж додав кислого, цікавого кислого, маю визнати. Я не фанат кислоти у шоколаді, але тут є щось цікаве. Що примітно, у складі немає ні ванілі, ні лецитину. А це вже добре.
Смак, як я вже писав, багатогранний кислотою. Тут і лимон і якісь кислуваті ягоди і ще щось (упаковка нагадує, що це фрукт пристрасті, дуже може бути - мої європейські рецептори не привчені його розпізнавати).
Післясмак лимона, але з відтінком гіркоти какао. Однозначно цікава плитка. Гарні 4 зірки.
