I bought this bar in a local pharmacy (in America, one can find anything in a pharmacy) for $4+. It has an unusual package - a jute bag with a manufacturer's logo. Inside the bag is a sealed plastic bag of golden color - probably for a resemblance to foil.
The bar is 85 grams and there's additional cocoa butter declared in it. And it is there! Chocolate melts fairly uniformly and has a pure chocolate flavor. Almost does not have sour notes. There is sweetness of sugar and bitterness of cocoa. And, of course, the oiliness of cocoa butter. It very much smooths out, for sure, the sharper taste of beans. In the aftertaste, a bit of astringency is felt which is completely absent until the chocolate has melted and the bitterness of cocoa, no acidity. The aftertaste itself is quite long and bitter.
I did not expect this bar to earn prestigious 4 stars in my prestigious chocolate rating :). That's why I try different kinds of chocolate - you never know where you'll find a pearl.
Цю плитку я купив у місцевій аптеці (в Америці в аптеці продається все, що завгодно) за 4+ долари. У неї незвичайна упаковка - плетений мішечок із логотипом виробника. Усередині мішечка запаяний пластиковий пакетик золотистого кольору - це для схожості з фольгою.
Плитка 85 г і в ній заявлено додаткове какао масло. І воно там відчувається. Шоколад тане досить однорідно і має чистий шоколадний смак. Майже не відчувається кислих ноток. Є солодкість цукру і гіркота какао. І, звичайно, маслянистість какао-масла. Воно дуже згладжує, напевно, різкіший смак бобів. У післясмаку відчувається трохи терпкості якої немає поки шоколад ще не розтанув і гіркоту какао, ніякої кислоти. Саме післясмак досить довгий і гіркий.
Не очікував, що ця плитка заробить престижні 4 зірки у моєму престижному рейтингу шоколаду :). Тому я й пробую різний шоколад - ніколи не знаєш, де знайдеш перлину.
