Being in Lutsk I came across a chocolate atelier Choconel, asked for their most cocoa containing bar, it was 85%.
Today we open it. The first thing that surprised me was the lack of ingredients. All that was written is literally "made from real Belgian chocolate without preservatives and flavor enhancers." I want to believe this, but I also believe the ingredients still should be on the packaging. It's good that at least there is a percentage of cocoa content, otherwise it would be completely unclear what kind of chocolate it is.
Packaged by hand, which you readily believe, because all the packaging is just a dense paper, there is no foil, no plastic bag. An interesting solution, but it is obvious that the chocolate can not be stored in such packaging for a long time. But I have not kept it for long anyway :)
I liked the design of the bar. Half of it is classic rectangles, half without a pattern with a washed-out edge. Quite original and I want to believe that this is a designer's idea and not a manufacturing issue :).
The smell is pretty simple - chocolaty, and there is not much else in it. The taste immediately reveals the presence of cocoa powder - there is a certain astringency, but not pronounced. There is also the bitterness of cocoa, but not sharp, the acid is almost absent. In the end, it seemed to me that there was a familiar (and unloved) taste of metal. I hesitated between 3 and 4 and as soon as I realized it, the answer became obvious - it's still 3 stars, even good ones.

What else confuses me, is that it's Belgian, but it's made in Ukraine. I guess I will add two tags :)
Перебуваючи в Луцьку я наткнувся на ательє шоколаду Шоконель запитав їх про плитку із самим високим вмістом какао, нею виявилася 85%.
Сьогодні відкриваємо її. Перше, що мене здивувало, це відсутність складу. Все що написано це буквально "зроблено із справжнього бельгійського шоколаду без консервантів та підсилювачів смаку". Хочеться цьому вірити, але склад все ж таки писати варто. Добре, що є відсоток вмісту какао, інакше зовсім було б незрозуміло, що це за шоколад.
Запаковано вручну, чому охоче віриш, тому що вся упаковка це тільки щільний папір, немає ні фольги, ні [пластикового пакетика](. ./tag/plastic-wrap). Цікаве рішення, але очевидно, що шоколад зберігати у такому стані довго не вийде. Але я його довго не зберігаю :)
Дизайн плитки мені сподобався. Плитка наполовину класичні прямокутники, наполовину без візерунка зі змитою гранню. Досить оригінально, і хочеться вірити що це задум дизайнера а не брак :).
Запах досить простий шоколадний, і особливого нічого в ньому немає. У смаку одразу відчувається присутність какао-порошку – є певна терпкість, але не яскраво виражена. Ще відчувається гіркота какао, але не різка, кислота майже відсутня. Наприкінці мені здалося, що там є знайомий присмак металу який не люблю. Я вагався між 3 і 4 і як тільки я це усвідомив, то відповідь стала очевидною - це все ж таки 3 зірки, нехай і хороші.

Бентежить мене ще те, що він бельгійський, але зроблений в Україні. Додам-но я два теги :)
