This Dick Taylor bar, the second one in my collection, I bought in Cocoa Store. I still use their "Summer" Sale and I've got the bar for $ 4.50. It's not so cheap for a 57 grams bar, but knowing the usual price of Dick Taylor bars, something around 9-12 dollars, it seemed to me that this was a good deal.

The chocolate "rottens" on October 23, according to the inscription on the packaging, but when I opened it, the bar looked like new - no bloom, no strange smells, nothing. I think that this bar could have been stored for another half a year or even more, without any consequences. But the shelf life is the shelf life and, most likely, all the chocolate that won't be sold will be thrown away, at least the sellers in this nice little shop told me so. I, probably, will visit them several more times, and now let's get back to to the bar.

We are familiar with the packaging from previous Dick Taylor bar with salt, a good tight envelope with foil paper, the bar is wrapped very interestingly. I do not know whether manually or not, but it looks interesting. A nice-looking bar, the pattern on the bar is absolutely non-trivial, which makes it a little difficult to break. But the bar itself is small, so it is usually finished at once :)
We have Brazilian and Madagascar beans and sugar. The smell is a bit heavy, but there is a lot of acid in the taste. It reminded me of recently finished Duffy's Indio Rojo a lot, namely because I also liked the chocolate, but the acid was too aggressive, and it does not allow me to rate it as 5 stars. This is a good quality chocolate, and I really discerned something like the promised dried apricots in this acid. No honey, but some dried fruit, or rather their acidity. Descent good quality chocolate, for $4.50 I can easily eat such chocolate - 4+ stars.

P.S. After a couple of days, I purchased another bar of the same type and it also went almost at once :) Very good four stars!
