75% Dark Guatemala by Vintage Plantations

After three years and kilos of chocolate I gave the local Jersey chocolate makers Vintage Plantations another chance. The 90% bar tasted by us in 2017 did not make a splash then. But today we have 75% Guatemala. I got it today at a local grocery store for $5.

Packaging, shape and pattern of bar is one-to-one as in 90% bar. Cocoa grinding turned out to be rather rough, as it was then, but I did not experience such rejection as then. The taste is quite simple, moderately bitter. Slightly acid. But I did not notice anything superfluous. Overall, I liked it surprisingly. It may not be worth $5, but sometimes, just for variety, it is okay. Honest 4 stars.

Упаковка, форма і візерунок плитки один в один як в 90% плитці. Помел какао як і тоді виявився досить грубим, але такого відторгнення, як тоді, я не зазнав. Смак досить простий, у міру гіркий. Трохи кислуватий. Але нічого зайвого я не помітив. Загалом, на подив, мені сподобалося. Можливо 5 доларів він і не коштує, але іноді, для різноманітності їсти цілком можна. Чесні 4 зірки.
