Today we have local chocolate - Brooklyn Born Chocolate.
I usually try to avoid expensive American chocolate, although there are some very good things like Dick Taylor, Dandelion Chocolate or L.A. Burdick. But often it is so-so chocolate. But not so long ago I had a chance to try a piece of another chocolate of the same manufacturer, and I liked it. So I made up my mind and bought this 60 gram bar for $4 (or so).
The bar is well wrapped, although the plastic bag is a minus, but a pretty beautiful pattern on the bar is a plus. There are no very many nuts, but they are found in such large pieces. The smell is very coffee-saturated and a bit of nuts. Coffee seems to dominate, but they complement each other well. Interestingly, coffee beans are stone ground, not sure how that should affect the taste. I didn't notice anything special regarding coffee, except that it was quite fine. In general, it's very much good. Good four stars. This chocolate is worth a try.

Плитка непогано упакована, хоча пластиковий пакетик йде в мінус, але плюс - досить гарний візерунок на плитці. Горіхів не дуже багато, але вони зустрічаються такими великими шматочками. Запах дуже насичений кавою і трохи горіхами. Кава начебто домінує, але вони непогано доповнюють одне одного. Що цікаво, кава боби молоті камінням, хоча я нічого особливого не помітив, крім того, що сама кава непогано відчувається і непогано гармонує. Загалом, мені сподобалося. Хороша четвірка. Цей шоколад варто скуштувати.
