This morning started with an Italian chocolate that has been brought from Ireland. Toscano Black, 70% cocoa. This is one of, I think, 6 bars that I've bought in The Chocolate Shop of The English Market in Cork.
Packaging, it deserves couple words. Probably half of the price for these 50 grams of chocolate are paid for the packaging :) In comparison to many other chocolate bars, here packaging is a part of the show. Inedible unfortunately :) It's mostly advertising, but it looks good and it feels good when you open it.
The smell it has is not sharp, but mild and pleasing - a bit of acidity, a bit of bitterness.
It tastes like chocolate:)) sweet enough, as well as bitter enough. And there's some other taste. Packaging officiously hints that those are notes of tobacco and malt. Okay, let it be so, maybe it's tobacco. With such an anchoring, tobacco just jumps out of my tongue :)
It nicely melts in the mouth, but pieces are a bit bigger than needed to let them melt without biting through or breaking them.
Aftertaste is not as long as wrapping promises, but it's there. Slightly astringent feeling, I suppose it's tobacco ;)
I liked it, and trying to catch all the feelings I ate three pieces.

Сьогодні ранок почався з італійського шоколаду привезеного знов-таки з Ірландії. Це одна з, здається, 6 плиток куплених у Шоколадному магазинчику на англійському ринку в Корку.
Упаковка, про неї окреме слово. Напевно, половина ціни, яка платиться за ці 50 грамів шоколаду, йде на упаковку :) Порівняно з багатьма іншими шоколадками тут упаковка це частина шоу. Жаль не їстівна :) Загалом це, звичайно, реклама, але виглядає добре і розгортати такий шоколад приємно.
Запах не різкий, помірно-приємний - трохи кислинки, трохи гіркоти.
На смак як шоколад :)) в міру солодкий і в міру гіркий, і є ще якийсь смак. Упаковка послужливо підказує, що це нотки тютюну та солоду. Нехай буде так, може й тютюну. З таким якорем, тютюн прямий і проситься з язика :)
Тане в роті добре, але шматочки трохи більшого, ніж потрібно, розміру – важко дати їм розтанути, без того щоб не розкусити чи зламати.
Післясмак не такий довгий як стверджує упаковка, але все ж таки присутній. Трохи в'яжуче відчуття, мабуть таки тютюн ;)
Мені сподобалося. Намагаючись розкуштувати і вловити всі відчуття, я слопав три шматочки.
Ставлю тверду четвірку - ★★★★☆!
