It turned out that I have two bars of Venezuelan chocolate from Jean-Paul Hévin, but one of them has 70% of cocoa, and the second one has 74%. I have some plans for the 74% bar, it gonna be a participant in my upcoming Big Venezuelan contest, since other participating bars have about 74-75% of cocoa. And we'll eat this 70% bar right here, right now.
Looks like Jean-Paul Hévin did not particularly bother regarding the packaging, or rather they did it once, because I can not say that the packaging is bad. But all the bars look the same. But, fortunately, in our business this is not the most important thing :)
The taste is acidic-floral, and bitter at the very end. I did not notice much harmony, a mediocre bar, especially in comparison with other Jean-Paul bars.
I rate it as three stars and hope that the 74% bar will be more interesting.
Виявилося, що я маю дві плитки венесуельського шоколаду від Jean-Paul Hévin, але одна з них 70 % какао, а друга 74%. Для 74% у мене приготовлена участь у змаганні венесуельських плиток, оскільки інші плитки учасники мають у складі якраз по 74-75% какао. А цю, 70% плиточку, ми з'їмо просто так і зараз.
З приводу упаковок Jean-Paul Hévin не особливо морочився, точніше заморочився якось, тому що не можу сказати що упаковка погана. Але всі плитки виглядають однаково. Але, на щастя, у нашій справі це не найголовніше.
Смак кислувато-квітковий, а наприкінці гірко. Особливої гармонії я не помітив середня плитка, особливо в порівнянні з іншими плитками Жана-Поля.
Я оцінюю її в три зірки і сподіваюся, що 74% плитка буде цікавіше.
