Yesterday I opened 72% Nil Mor with almonds. I purchased it in a local ShopRite for $2.50. At the same time as the original Nil Mor, which earned its 4 stars more than a month ago.
Packaging is not any different from oiginal except the color. The content, according to the packaging, is no different either, other than the presence of almonds. Everything is organic, including almonds. But this particular bar looks pretty bad. I think I'm beginning to understand why ShopRite sells them at low prices. And also I understand that I will not buy chocolate at this store anymore - they do not know how to store it.
The smell is not very pleasant, there is something in it which I can not find in the list of ingredients. Something wrong, something artificial.
Taste, alas, also astounds by wretchedness. Badly roasted nuts slaughter almost all the taste. In addition, almonds are unshelled and peel, flaking off the nut pieces, stick to the palate, or is simply left as some trash in the mouth, after the chocolate is completely melted.
I tasted the original Nil Mor bar after one-star rated Irish Kate Kearney's, probably because of the contrast it received 4 stars. It's difficult to explain this difference some other way. Nil Mor with almonds goes on the shelf of 2 star bars. I do not recommend.

Упаковка не відрізняється від оригінальної нічим крім кольору. Зміст, якщо вірити упаковці, нічим, крім наявності мигдалю. Все органічне, включаючи мигдаль. Але ця конкретна плитка виглядає досить погано. Здається, я починаю розуміти, чому ShopRite продає їх за низькими цінами. І також розумію, що купувати шоколад у цьому магазині я більше не буду – не вміють вони його зберігати.
Запах не дуже приємний, є в ньому щось що я не можу знайти у списку інгредієнтів. Щось не те, не справжнє.
Смак, на жаль, теж вражає убогістю. Погано просмажені горіхи забивають майже весь смак. До того ж мигдаль не чищений і шкірка, що відшаровується від шматочків горіха, липне до піднебіння або просто залишається як сміття в роті, після того, як шоколад повністю розтанув.
Оригінальну плитку я пробував після однозіркової ірландської плитки Kate Kearney's, швидше за все саме через контрасту вона отримала 4 зірки. Пояснити інакше таку різницю мені важко. Nil Mor з мигдалем вирушає на полицю двузіркових. Не рекомендую.
