And again Valrhona is here! The third one on my list, before there were 70% Guanaja and 85% Abinao. And I'm still looking for that five-stars one.
I bought this bar in Copenhagen, so the text on packaging is Danish, not English. Packaging is good, matte black paper. I love those, the word "stylish" appears in my head. Probably, some of my tastes of the 90's :) mine and producers.
I liked this bar more than Guanaja. There's a fruity acidity in the smell, which I usually do not really like. Here it was quite light though.
The taste represents a fight between sweetness and bitterness and fruit acid looms in the background all the time. Sweetness seems to be winning, but the acid gets mature and swallows sweetness into dust as the curtain fells.
Aftertaste is the territory of the acid.
Such an acidic tragedy in 2 actions. Not to say the crowd shouts "Bravo! Bis!", but it applauds. Four I guess.
І знову з нами Valrhona. Третя за рахунком у моєму списку, перед нею були 70% Guanaja та 85% Abinao. А я все шукаю ту саму, п'ятизіркову.
Цю плитку я купив у Копенгагені, тому на упаковці датська, а не англійська. Упаковка хороша, матовий чорний папір. Люблю такі, у голові виникає слово "стильно". Напевно, якісь мої смаки 90-х :) мої та виробників.
Ця плитка сподобалася мені більше ніж Guanaja. У запаху є фруктова кислинка, яку я зазвичай не дуже вшановую. Тут вона була досить легкою.
У смаку борються солодкість, гіркота і на задньому фоні постійно маячить фруктова кислинка. Солодкість здавалося б перемагає, але під завісу кислинка стає зрілішою і скидає насолоду в пил. Післясмак – територія кислоти.
Така ось кисла трагедія на 2 дії. Зал не те щоб кричить "Браво! Біс!", але аплодує. Десь на четвірочку.
